Haven't been to Stirling Lodge since July of 1999. I long to come back to Newboro Lake and the memories I have fishing there with my dad, brothers and uncle who had Sunny Isle. I'm single now and have a paranoia with bridges, so if anyone from Reading wants to drive me to Stirling Lodge so I can enjoy a week there of fishing, shooting pool, pubbing, eating and relaxing, just contact me by e-mail. I really want to go back, but I can't fathom driving over the Thousand Island Bridge. It would be a white-knuckle experience for sure!

It's been a few years since I've been to see you folks. I've been dealing with some health issues the least of which is leukemia. I'm in remission now for about five years and it's my sincerest hope that I'll be able to return for a visit this or next year. Some of the best fishing and the best times I've had have been at Stirling with you and my buddies from Bucks County, PA,the Peace Valley Bass Anglers.Hope to see you very soon.

When we arrived at Stirling Lodge, my youngest son who was 12 at the time, went right out to the boat dock to go fishing. We were getting settled in the Lake view house and heard him yelling. Well we were surprised to see a 30" pike flopping around on the dock. He had caught the biggest fish of the day and was posted "Prince of the Day" in the Pub. What a way to start the vacation!
Our stay at Stirling Lodge was very relaxing. The people at the lodge and visiting were all great. The food was excellent, just like home cooking.
We hired a Guide for a day and he showed us how to catch some nice fish, cooked us a shore lunch, and was a very interesting person.
Stirling Lodge is a good compromise between a remote camp and a high class hotel. Just right for the whole family!

July was our first visit at Stirling Lodge. You can not describe the Stirling Lodge experience with one word...Accommodating, Friendly, Fun, Fantastic, Food, Delicious, Exciting, Relaxing, Exploration, Fish, Nature, Loons, Comfortable, Interesting, Historic, Scenic, and the list goes on. I would suggest to any one to visit Stirling Lodge and find out the rest of the words that I didn't mention. Great time and fabulous people. Best birthday vacation ever! Thanks everyone at Stirling Lodge! ><(((>
