Hot and dry, and super fishy!  We had a great few days of fishing, but had to work hard for them.  Boated many bass in the 2-4+lb range during 4 solid days of catching fish.  Great service from all the staff!  Looking forward to next time.

My family and I traveled from PA and stayed at Stirling lodge for a long weekend fishing trip. The boat rental and “Post and Beam” restaurant were both very close by.

The staff that checked us in and the restaurant staff were Super friendly and always helpful.

The food at the restaurant was excellent!  The various Homemade pies were delicious.

I would highly recommend this place.

This was my fifth time I came fishing at Stirling lodge. The fishing was great this year had a great time. The food and the service was great like usual. We always get a lakeside room. This year I really noticed the rooms really need some work done on them starting to show some age. When sitting on the porch watching the boats coming in and out . Couldn't help but notice how nice the boats look like next door. The boats we rented was a small pontoon boat. They are not in the best of shape the lights do not work and I know we shouldn't be out in the dark but if you are fishing one of the lower lakes sometimes it's dark till you get back. It would be nice to have lights for safety. The boat has a radio but doesn't work. I hope to keep coming back to Stirling lodge but looking at the equipment they have next door might have to try there next year.
